Bart Jordens

Bart Jordens took up the role of global head of Innovation, International Markets at Cigna in February 2018. In this role, he works with all regions to ensure that we are innovating and disrupting for our customers, clients, providers and broker partners. This is a critical part of our strategy as we accelerate Cigna’s transformational agenda, strengthen our right to win in our markets, drive improved efficiency in how we operate and delight our customers with an increased focus on our customer journey. Prior to this appointment, he was Cigna’s general manager for its IGO/NGO segment and the Africa region (July 2013-January 2018). Within this segment, he was responsible for improving and expanding operating capabilities, deepening client relationships, and ensuring clients and customers are experiencing optimal health and well-being services. Jordens holds a Master in Economics degree from the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium) and studied at the Vlerick Management School Ghent (Belgium) and Insead, Fontainebleau (France). He lives in Antwerp, Belgium.
