Hitachi Vantara unveils the Hitachi iQ M Series, a modular AI-ready infrastructure solution designed for hybrid cloud data orchestration and scalable AI workloads.
This innovative addition to the Hitachi iQ portfolio combines Hitachi Vantara Virtual Storage Platform One (VSP One) storage, integrated file system choices, and optional NVIDIA AI Enterprise software into a scalable, adaptable, cost-effective AI infrastructure solution.

NVIDIA AI Data Platform
Hitachi iQ is integrating the NVIDIA AI Data Platform reference design to combine its enterprise storage with NVIDIA’s accelerated computing, networking, and AI software.
The M Series empowers businesses with its flexible configurations, offering a choice between a high-performance file system for speed or a global namespace file system for unified data access across locations. An optional object storage repository within the Hitachi iQ portfolio enables M Series to handle the various data types, sizes, and workload demands, giving businesses the power to tailor their AI infrastructure to their specific needs.

AI-driven data management
In addition, Hitachi Vantara has partnered with NVIDIA and Hammerspace to enhance AI-driven data management. Integrating with NVIDIA AI Data Platform aims to ensure real-time insights, while Hammerspace claims to enable seamless access to distributed data, optimising AI workload performance.
