EY Global Delivery Services (EY GDS) Philippines is strengthening a skills-first talent pipeline to prepare students for the evolving demands of the AI-era workforce.

"Our program really sets a standard for industry-academia synergy. In our first academic collaboration in the Philippines, we're able to give students access to industry platforms and progressive development tracks," says Diana Dionisio, EY GDS Philippines Talent Attraction and Acquisition leader.

EY GDS is collaborating directly with universities to embed enterprise tools, certifications, and hands-on training into degree programs, equipping students with job-relevant skills in areas such as AI, data analytics, programming, and cybersecurity.
A key component of the strategy is early exposure to enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, a digital workflow platform used to streamline IT services, customer operations and risk management. As a Global Elite Partner of ServiceNow, EY integrates the platform into its learning programs to simulate real-world business environments.
Among its flagship initiatives is the Accelerated Learning Program for ServiceNow (ALPS), launched in partnership with Cebu Institute of Technology–University. The program begins up to two years before graduation, allowing students to develop technical expertise and professional maturity through immersive, real-world workflows.
EY GDS has also expanded its talent development efforts through cybersecurity boot camps and academic programs focused on cyber threat management, security operations, and risk and compliance.

"This immersion bridges the gap between theory and practice, showing how academic concepts apply in real client situations. Students build confidence, improve decision-making and enter the workforce prepared and effective from day one," said Raymond Go, EY GDS Philippines consulting leader.
