In the IDC report, The State of Ransomware and Disaster Preparedness: 2022, 93% of surveyed organisations have suffered a data-related business disruption during the past 12 months, with about 68% experiencing four or more such disruptions.
Phil Goodwin, research vice president for infrastructure systems, platforms, and technologies group at IDC says modernizing data protection, including backup and DR, is a high priority for many IT organizations.
