Huawei Hybrid Cloud announced the release of Huawei Cloud Stack 8.3, which provides more than 110 on-premises cloud services and six highlights, aiming to help organisations in Hong Kong dive into the cloud.
"This brand-new version provides six highlights: a solid cloud foundation and five innovative capabilities covering databases, mainframe modernisation, data lakes, large AI models, and industrial Internet. We strive to create greater value and better experience for government and enterprise customers and partners in Hong Kong," Hu Yuhai, vice president of Huawei Hybrid Cloud, said.
Dive into cloud
Huawei Cloud Stack 8.3 claims to deliver 30% better performance, flexible disaster recovery, and one-stop migration capabilities through GaussDB’s distributed database.
Mainframe modernisation accelerates the transformation of core systems from siloed legacy mainframes to open platforms through software, hardware, and services innovation. The solution provides three cloud migration paths: re-hosting, re-platforming, and rearchitecting of core systems.
MRS (a big data service), DWS (a data warehouse service), and DataArts Studio (one-stop data governance) and a converged data lake supporting OLAP and HTAP workloads improve data sharing and circulation.
Claiming to be the pioneer hybrid cloud that can deploy large AI models, the solution provides computing platforms, cloud services, development suites, and professional services.
Huawei Cloud Stack‘s AI-integrated industrial internet enables industrial all-domain connections, data intelligence, and application innovation to address the challenges of industrial production.
