Microsoft has announced the availability of Microsoft Fabric Go Local in Singapore to support data residency needs for government and regulated workloads, along with Windows 365 Link devices for secure connections to Cloud PCs from anywhere.
"The introduction of Microsoft Fabric Go Local and Windows 365 Link underscores our long-term commitment to Singapore's digital future. As the country doubles down on AI transformation and innovation, we are investing in the local infrastructure and offerings needed to support that growth with the highest levels of trust, security, and performance," Wee Luen Chia, managing director, Microsoft Singapore, said.
Microsoft Fabric Go Local Singapore
Microsoft Fabric is a unified, end-to-end analytics platform that combines data engineering, data warehousing, real-time analytics, and business intelligence into a single software-as-a-service (SaaS) experience.
For core Fabric workloads such as OneLake, Data Factory, and Power BI, Microsoft Fabric Go Local Singapore ensures that data remains within Singapore, aligning with local governance and compliance standards.
As part of the Fabric Go Local strategy, additional features such as Copilot, Fabric IQ, and Real Time Intelligence will be gradually added to ensure ongoing compliance with Singapore's security, trust, and regulatory requirements.
With embedded cybersecurity, data protection, and responsible AI, Fabric Go Local runs on Microsoft's global Azure cloud platform, providing data residency.

Windows 365 Link Devices
Available in Singapore for the first time, Windows 365 Link is a purpose-built, compact hardware Cloud PC device that connects users directly to Windows 365 in seconds, offering a secure, portable endpoint that stores no local data and supports no local applications, ideal for shared workspaces and hybrid environments.
These announcements were made at Microsoft Singapore Public Sector Solutions Day on April 9, 2026.
