Boomi has introduced new platform capabilities to help enterprises deploy AI agents at scale while maintaining greater control over security, costs, data, and business-system access. Boomi’s Agent Control Plane, an AI-native infrastructure layer, connects AI agents with core enterprise systems while monitoring and governing their actions.
“Two years ago, 31% of FinOps practitioners were managing AI spend. This year it is 98%. The Agent Control Plane is vendor- and model-neutral and can run across public cloud, private cloud environments and on-premises infrastructure to support organisations with data sovereignty and security requirements.
It claims to provide centralised visibility into agents and tools and enforce identity and rate limits. Moreover, it can also monitor AI traffic, control token spending, and require human approval for high-risk transactions.
It claims to deliver maximum flexibility and choice by securely governing agents, tools, and models across the ecosystem, including bring-your-own-models (BYOM) and specialised SLMs.
Moreover, the Boomi Enterprise Platform converts natural language intent directly into multi-system workflows, while opening the platform to builders through expanded APIs and agent skills, programmatic orchestration, and agent trust scoring to scale operations across the business.
