OutSystems announced its latest solution in the OutSystems Developer Cloud platform, AI Agent Builder. It claims to enable IT leaders to leverage generative AI (GenAI) powered applications and govern a standardised and secure AI use. AI Agent Builder provides IT teams solutions to build generative AI agents within new or existing applications, even without coding or AI expertise.

AI Agent Builder addresses issues around AI and privacy, compliance, and security by enabling delivering context-aware and human-like responses and actions.
It can also simplify the development process for a customised deployment of GenAI solutions. AI Agent Builder claims to serve as a blueprint for accelerating AI strategy and simplifying the implementation and deployment of GenAI.
Key features
AI Agent Builder comes with a custom AI agent development for users to customise, design, configure, and deploy generative AI agents without coding. It also has a library of quick-start generative AI apps and AI agents powered by retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). The solution includes built-in guardrails to control access and performance monitoring for more accurate and trustworthy results.
“75% of OutSystems customers are still in the beginning stage of generative AI implementation, and we want to help them meet the moment,” Rosado said.
