Around 63% of technology resellers in APJ cited security as the top technology sold in 2023 according to Tech Data’s TD SYNNEX Direction of Technology Report focused on Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ).

Key Findings in APJ
· The survey revealed that 40% of partners are set to offer Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) solutions in the next two years.
· The majority of those surveyed (62%) are set to expand their technology and solutions offerings.
· The biggest factors in customer purchasing decisions were cybersecurity and infrastructure.
· Half of APJ partners consider cybersecurity certifications and standards as important investment areas.
· 63% of partners consider increased competition and margin pressure as key challenges – 59% cited credit and financial scalability as a challenge they currently face.
· 79% of partners are expecting future growth.
As emerging technologies emerge, Tech Data noted that APJ partners will play a critical role in guiding customers toward impactful products.
