Idan Zalzberg, chief technology officer at Agoda, said, “Travellers want simplicity and convenience. They shouldn’t need to manage separate bookings, payment processes, and confirmations. By bringing flights, accommodation, and activities into a single booking flow, we’re making it easier to plan and manage trips from start to finish, while handling the complexity behind the scenes.”

Multi-product booking engine

The new multi-product booking engine allows users to manage separate checkouts for different travel components.

An integrated “My Trips” section on the Agoda platform consolidates all aspects of a journey, enabling users to view, organise, and even rename their trips for easier reference.

The new capability coordinates multiple suppliers into one seamless experience in the backend. It handles payment processing, fraud checks, and inventory confirmation in a single, streamlined workflow, simplifying the booking process with a single checkout, a single confirmation, and a single centralised location to manage the entire trip.

Designed to function smoothly across Agoda’s global network, the multi-product booking engine adapts to various supplier requirements and regional differences while maintaining a consistent user experience, no matter where or what travellers are booking.
