Amazon has unveiled its new corporate office and Asia Pacific Hub at IOI Central Boulevard, Singapore, its 2nd corporate office in Singapore’s Central Business District.
“AWS’s new regional office in Singapore represents our deepening commitment to Singapore and serves as a strategic hub for digital transformation across ASEAN. Designed as a collaborative space, it connects AWS leaders with industry partners, enterprises, and innovators to advance technology development in Southeast Asia,” said Jeff Johnson, managing director, ASEAN, Amazon Web Services.
New Singapore office
With over 360,000 square feet across eight floors, the new office can accommodate up to 3,000 employees from more than 100 local and regional employees supporting AWS and other corporate functions.
With an open-door approach, the new office invites customers and clients to attend hub-focused co-working sessions, creative brainstorms in dedicated innovation rooms, hands-on technical workshops, or informal networking in their community spaces.
Highlights
The new AWS office includes Amazon’s first Inclusion and Sustainability Gallery, which showcases the company’s key sustainability milestones and commitments through interactive exhibits.
It also includes AWS’s first flagship Executive Briefing Centre in Asia, where AWS experts, enterprise customers and partners can discuss how to move forward in their cloud journey.
For job seekers, the new office provides a private space to prepare for interviews through the Amazon Candidate Experience Centre. This space, complete with amenities like refreshments and quiet rooms, is designed to support and encourage potential candidates.
The new office offers employees vibrant meeting rooms, 12 large training rooms with video-conferencing capabilities, quiet rooms, phone booths, breakout areas, and collaboration spaces. Employees can also enjoy a pantry and a mini café, game tables, equipment for billiards, foosball, electronic darts, and interactive game board walls, making it a comfortable and enjoyable workspace.
