Global Language AI company DeepL has expanded its popular API solution to include two powerful new features: the DeepL next-generation (“next-gen”) language model and DeepL API for Write.
The solutions are designed to deliver translations with precision and accuracy, providing access to advanced writing tools, such as grammar suggestions, spelling corrections, and more.

Expanded capabilities and benefits
DeepL’s API solution offers expanded capabilities and benefits, such as significant translation quality and accuracy enhancements powered by DeepL’s next-generation LLM. DeepL claims that in blind tests, where translations were evaluated without knowing the source, its translations required fewer edits than its competitors.
It also offers new writing and editing capabilities via DeepL API for Write, providing real-time, AI-powered suggestions on word choice, phrasing, style, and tone. This feature acts as a creative writing assistant during the drafting process.
Availability
The DeepL API, powered by a next-gen language model, is now available for translations in English, Japanese, German, Korean, and Simplified Chinese, with additional languages coming soon.
DeepL API for Write is also now available in German, English (British and US), Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese (Portuguese and Brazilian).
