Nearly 90% of founders experienced positive outcomes from leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) in their company’s go-to-market (GTM), according to a study by Hubspot

AI use across the GTM

The survey of more than 1,000 global startup founders revealed that AI helped boost customer conversion rates (57%), enhanced customer engagement (52%), and improved lead quality (41%).

Around 62% of founders are using AI in their marketing strategies such as customer behavior forecasting (24%) and personalised content recommendation algorithms (23%).

More than half (59%) of early-stage startup founders observed the benefit of AI in reaching qualified prospects by helping them understand the customer journey (39%) and in predictive analysis for sales forecasting (38%).

Most (80%) of founders surveyed agree that AI positively impacted customer experience and success, with 62% using AI in customer experience and nearly 40% using AI-powered chatbots or virtual assistants.

Starting the AI journey

Pascal Weinberger

“For startups just beginning to use AI in their GTM strategies, I suggest they start by experimenting with user-friendly tools first before scaling. Think: tools that will help them automate time-consuming tasks like writing subject lines or generating social content so founders can spend their time scaling the business,” Pascal Weinberger, CEO and co-founder at Bardeen.ai said.
