Longsys unveiled integrated storage solutions for three core edge AI scenarios: AI Box intelligent hosts, AI PC terminals and AI Mobile embedded devices.
The innovations are designed to address challenges including insufficient compute adaptation, resource scheduling imbalances, high retrofit costs and stability concerns. The company said the upgrades leverage proprietary technology and supply chain integration to improve performance, efficiency and cost.
Storage Foundry Model
Speaking at the Flash Memory Summit (FMS) 2026 in California on Aug. 4, Longsys chief scientist Dr. Chen Jian said the company’s Storage Foundry Model enables deep cross-functional collaboration, allowing end-to-end customisation from design through delivery.
Longsys said the model goes beyond isolated hardware upgrades by spanning the entire value chain, including chip design, hardware, firmware, packaging, industrial design, packaging and testing, materials, and manufacturing. The approach enables more efficient development of customised storage solutions by integrating expertise across the design and production process.
