Microsoft expands AI Pinnacle Program with public and private sector collaborations

Microsoft has announced that it is expanding its AI Pinnacle Program with new collaborations with the public and private sectors to facilitate AI-powered transformations in Singapore. New collaborations with CapitaLand, ofi (Olam Food Ingredients), SATS, Singtel, and SJ Group aim to support AI research and maxmise the potential of AI.

Representing key industries, including real estate, food and beverage ingredients and solutions, aviation, telecommunications, architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC), the expanded program involves the companies co-innovating sector-specific AI solutions with Microsoft. It also includes research engagements with member organisations to explore AI’s potential in complex use cases and sectoral impact, including AI for manufacturing, financial services, transportation and logistics, health and biomedical, sustainability, and public services.

“Our focus at Microsoft is ensuring AI benefits the entire Singapore community, so we’re excited to expand the AI Pinnacle Program to make it easier to access effective AI and build new skills while transforming and modernising how key industries do business. By working with industry-leading organisations, we are co-innovating to develop AI use cases that will unlock real value and solve unique challenges in their sectors,” Microsoft Singapore managing director Lee Hui Li said.

Initially launched in 2004, the Microsoft AI Pinnacle Program aims to enable organisations in Singapore to realise transformative AI-powered solutions by facilitating the co-creation and co-innovation of AI use cases.
