Singapore Polytechnic (SP) has launched the Human Capital Collaboratory (HCC), a new platform designed to support organisations in confidently transforming their workflows and developing future-ready workforces.

“AI transformation is not only about adopting technology; it is about redesigning work so people can use it well. A capability advantage is created when skills can be applied in daily work, supported by managers, clear ownership and the right systems. Through HCC, SP will bring education, industry and partners together to turn transformation intent into practical action and sustained business value,” said Lucas Tok, director of the School of Business at Singapore Polytechnic.
Supporting company and workforce transformation
HCC adopts a four-step approach to empower organisations to redesign jobs and workflows, implement AI-enabled solutions, strengthen workforce capabilities through continuing education and training (CET), develop leaders, and foster fair workplace practices. These initiatives are delivered through SP-led consultancy, student projects, and industry pilot programmes.
The platform is built around four pillars:
- Reimagine Work: Job and workflow redesign, process improvement, and AI-enabled operations.
- Build Capability: CET pathways, AI fluency, leadership development, role badges, and career mobility.
- Advance Fair Workplaces: Inclusive people practices, workplace fairness, and stronger employee experiences.
- Translate Into Action: Consultancy, student projects, industry pilots, applied learning, and partner-led solutions.
HCC has already supported the Singapore Kindness Movement in strengthening its workplace culture and people development initiatives by promoting self-awareness, effective communication, and fair workplace practices to improve team dynamics and organisational culture.
The platform also played a key role in the Singapore Precision Engineering and Technology Association‘s (SPETA) Second-Generation Leadership Programme. HCC supported the association’s leadership and workforce transformation efforts by delivering HR learning journeys and leadership workshops for second-generation business leaders.
