Tencent Cloud and Elastic have deepened their technical and product collaboration across AI search, enterprise data, and agentic applications. The partnership aims to help enterprises build dedicated context infrastructure for the AI era.
Tencent Cloud Elasticsearch Service
The two companies also jointly launched Tencent Cloud Elasticsearch Service(ES) Enterprise Edition, featuring Elastic’s enterprise-grade search and AI capabilities on the platform.
Cheng Bin, general manager of Data Platform Products at Tencent Cloud Data Analytics, said, “Tencent Cloud will combine Elastic’s enterprise-grade capabilities with its own experience in operating large-scale systems and its AI ecosystem, helping more enterprises establish context infrastructure for the AI era.”
Elasticsearch is an open-source search engine that powers Elastic’s Search AI Platform and serves thousands of businesses.
Tencent Cloud’s Elasticsearch Service enhances enterprise AI search by combining keyword and semantic search, integrating LLMs and AI agents, and keeping historical data accessible for richer business context.

“Search in 2026 is, in essence, about test-time compute.” He added, “When search quality falls short, teams should first consider whether additional inference compute can address the problem before adding data or switching to a larger model,” Han Xiao, vice president of AI at Elastic, said.
