AvePoint has introduced the AvePoint Trust Platform to help organisations govern, secure, and optimise AI.
The platform prepares data for AI, manages agents throughout their lifecycle, and maintains business resilience when AI errors occur. It operates independently of any specific cloud, model, or AI provider.

“Every organisation now has access to the same AI capabilities. What truly sets them apart is how far that AI can safely reach, what permissions it actually has, and whether there’s a way to reverse course when it makes a wrong call. That’s the real test of AI Trust, and it’s the foundation for this new agent-driven era,” said Dr Tianyi Jiang (TJ), CEO and co-founder of AvePoint.
AvePoint Trust Platform
The AvePoint Trust Platform enables enterprises to move from unmanaged AI to measurable trust across all agents, applications, models, and AI vendors. It is built on four core disciplines.
- Observe: The platform identifies both sanctioned and shadow agents, including those created by citizen developers, and highlights overshared, stale, or unlabeled content before agents access it.
- Protect: Backup and recovery for Microsoft 365, Power Platform, SaaS applications such as ServiceNow, and cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud now extend to agents themselves.
- Govern: Each agent receives an assigned owner, policy, and data sensitivity context. Business-owner attestation and recertification are managed through Slack, Teams, and email from discovery to retirement.
- Optimise: The platform removes unnecessary content, enhances prompt effectiveness, and provides visibility into token consumption and budgeting. This allows organisations to focus AI resources on the most important information and initiatives.

Randy Simmons, senior managing director, EY AI Workplace Practice, said: “AvePoint addresses a critical need we are seeing in the large enterprise market, giving organisations more visibility, control and protection as their AI environments grow.”
