“This collaboration is more than a partnership; it’s a synergy aimed at bridging the digital divide, underscoring our common commitment to strengthening Indonesia’s digital backbone,” said Sujit Panda, COO of BDx Data Centres.

 CGK 3A campus

The partnership involves APJII launching a new IIX node at BDx Indonesia’s CGK 3A campus in Southern Jakarta to enhance the coverage of the Indonesia Internet Exchange (IIX) in Greater Jakarta.

The initiative aims to establish the campus as the digital hub for internet traffic exchange, provide a platform for developing a carrier-neutral interconnection ecosystem in the country, and address modern applications’ high bandwidth and low latency demands.

The partnership also aims to position BDx’s CGK 3A campus as a centre for AI-driven innovation. Tailored for AI inferencing, the campus aims to facilitate faster data sharing, enhance the responsiveness of AI models, improve real-time data processing, and reduce latency in modern applications.
