IBM has announced the successful completion of a payroll modernisation for SingHealth, a Singapore-based public healthcare group, making it the first healthcare cluster in Singapore to move to SAP Private RISE.

Modernising payroll infrastructure
Led by IBM Consulting and in collaboration with SingHealth and its payment processing partner, 1FSS, the project migrated SingHealth’s payroll and custom applications from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA on a Private RISE model.
The transformation included:
- Creating a secure payroll infrastructure integrated with SingHealth’s HR and finance systems
- Ensuring accurate and seamless payroll data transfers
- Simplifying the core architecture to improve stability and reduce maintenance
- Establishing a process for continuous compliance and security updates
- Transforming payroll into a platform for insights, supporting workforce automation and informed operational decisions.
