EPAM Systems, Inc. has launched a new strategic offering to support the next generation of frontier AI models that can execute complex, specialised enterprise workflows more reliably.

The offering includes expertise in high-fidelity data generation, rigorous model evaluation, and custom reinforcement learning (RL) environment development.

“As frontier AI shifts from general experimentation to complex enterprise workflows, the demand has fundamentally moved from raw compute to specialised domain intelligence,” said Elaina Shekhter, chief strategy & transformation officer at EPAM.

Shekhter added: “Our new offering bridges that critical gap by pairing our decades of deep engineering heritage with our established Frontier AI partnerships, uniquely positioning us to capture this massive, high-value market. We aren’t just participating in the GenAI wave; we’re actively building infrastructure that makes enterprise-grade autonomy possible.”

Frontier AI Service

EPAM is enhancing its AI capabilities through partnerships with leading frontier AI labs, including Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and Microsoft.

The company has trained nearly 10,000 Claude-certified architects, more than 3,000 OpenAI-certified forward-deployed engineers, and over 5,000 Gemini-certified specialists. This expertise provides AI labs with access to engineers who understand model performance in complex enterprise environments and can help accelerate development and deployment.

EPAM is also developing reinforcement learning (RL) environments that simulate enterprise systems and workflows.

These controlled settings let testers evaluate AI agents’ reasoning, multi-turn interactions, and tool use while providing secure feedback for continuous model improvement.
