GRYPHLINE, the global publishing arm of Hypergryph, has announced its partnership with Adyen to support the cross-platform launch ofits new 3D role-playing game, “Arknights: Endfield“.

“GRYPHLINE is an entrepreneurial, forward-thinking studio that mirrors the fast-paced culture of the modern gaming industry,” said Roelant Prins, chief commercial officer at Adyen. “By expanding their global publishing footprint, they needed a financial backbone that could scale as fast as their community. We are proud to provide the technology to power their global ambition.”

 Frictionless player experience

The partnership involves integrating GRYPHLINE with Adyen’s unified payments solution to manage payments internationally, including Japan, the U.S., Canada, Germany, France, the UK, and South Korea.

GRYPHLINE has deployed several key modules within the Adyen Uplift suite:

  • Network Tokens & Real-Time Account Updater: These tools ensure that player payment details remain current and secure, reducing involuntary churn and failed transactions for in-game purchases.
  • Adyen Protect Premium: A sophisticated fraud prevention layer that uses AI and Dynamic Identification to distinguish between loyal players and sophisticated bot networks.

To ensure maximum platform stability and high transaction authorisation rates, Adyen collaborated closely with GRYPHLINE to build customised risk rules and conduct rigorous live-testing scenarios over six months.

Adyen and GRYPHLINE sustained their collaboration to provide ongoing support and continuous authorisation rate optimisations to ensure consistent peak performance.

Following the global success of the original ‘Arknights‘ mobile game, ‘Arknights: Endfield’ marks GRYPHLINE’s first independent, simultaneous global rollout across major platforms, including PlayStation 5, PC, iOS, and Android.
