Mambu unveils Intelligent Core, which aims to integrate core banking, payments, and agentic AI through one open, composable platform.

Intelligent Core is a unified architecture that accelerates execution, lowers operational overhead, and powers hyper-personalised innovation. Three new capability layers within its agentic offering include:
- Model Context Protocol (MCP): Connects enterprise AI agents directly into core and payments for real-time data and context, without complex integrations.
- AI Insights: A curated data layer ensuring the underlying data used for agent reasoning is always trustworthy, while continually surfacing AI-powered insights on growth opportunities, risk and anomalies across portfolios and operations to deliver actionable intelligence automatically.
- Agents: Pre-built action agents that gather the data, reason against configurable guardrails, act where they’re allowed, and explain every action and decision. Fully configurable to learn policies, approval thresholds, and business logic.
