Qualcomm Technologies Inc. unveils the Snapdragon Scalable Turnkey AI-Ready Toolkit (START), a program designed to help brands bring their own personal AI devices to market faster and with greater flexibility.

“AI is becoming more personal; it is designed to work with you, your context, and what you’re doing in the moment,” said Ziad Asghar, senior vice president and general manager of XR, Wearables and Personal AI at Qualcomm Technologies, during the Augmented World Expo.
“Personal AI devices, including smart glasses, help bring agentic AI to life by seeing what you see and hearing what you hear. Snapdragon START establishes the foundation that makes it easier for brands and organisations to bring these devices to market, expanding access to agentic capabilities to more consumers,” Ashgar added.

Snapdragon START combines modules with an AI-agnostic full software stack and a network of manufacturing partners. It also features hardware modules powered by Snapdragon platforms that combine advanced compute, connectivity, and AI.
It aims to facilitate the development of new, unique user experiences, enabling brands to design and scale personal AI devices, starting with smart glasses, with support for additional form factors planned later this year.
