More than 150 CIOs, CTOs and senior technology executives gathered at the 4th Annual FutureCIO Malaysia Conference 2026, where industry leaders explored strategies to harness artificial intelligence and drive sustainable digital transformation.
Forging future advantage
Under the theme, “Forging Future Advantage,” the conference brought together technology decision-makers from across industries to discuss how organisations can move beyond AI experimentation and deliver business impact.
Throughout the day, attendees gained insights into national AI priorities, the rise of sovereign and agentic AI, and practical approaches for scaling AI from pilot projects into measurable business outcomes.
Discussions also focused on aligning cybersecurity and data protection strategies with the full enforcement of the Cyber Security Act 2024 and the Digital Trust and Data Security Strategy 2026–2030.
Industry experts highlighted the growing importance of balancing innovation with governance as organisations navigate evolving regulatory requirements, increasing cyber threats, and heightened expectations around sustainability.
