Ant Group has upgraded its physician platform, Haodf for Doctor, into AQ for Doctor, an AI-powered workstation that aims to support physicians across the entire clinical workflow.
Integrating with AQ, Ant Group’s flagship AI health app, the solution aims to improve healthcare delivery by connecting physicians and patients through a unified AI ecosystem.
“AI will never replace doctors,” said Zhang Junjie, vice president of Ant Group and Head of the Health Business. “But AI can become a trusted assistant for healthcare professionals. Our goal is to build a reliable and practical AI workstation for China’s more than five million physiciansāhelping them work more efficiently while enabling every leading doctor’s expertise and experience to reach many more patients.”
AQ for doctor
The platform introduces two major AI capabilities: the AI Medical Assistant and the AI Doctor Agent.
- The AI Doctor Agent: Helps physicians before, during, and after consultations by collecting patient histories, conducting pre-visit interviews, answering routine health questions, generating follow-up summaries, and supporting long-term patient management.
- AI Medical Assistant: Provides real-time clinical decision support through text or voice searches. It offers fast, evidence-based medical references backed by transparent and traceable sources.
Beyond individual practitioners, AQ for Doctor also enables hospitals and healthcare institutions to establish their own online hospitals on the platform. Physicians can now manage consultations, patient records, and follow-up care through a unified account rather than using multiple systems,
