Vectra AI, Inc. launched Vectra MXDR (Managed Extended Detection and Response) services, the industry-first, global, 24×7 open MXDR service built to defend against hybrid attacks. The new offering removes latency, maximises security team talent, and reduces exposure while improving security.

“With cyber attacks growing in frequency and sophistication, it’s increasingly important to make sure security controls are being optimised 24/7/365 to stay ahead of advanced hybrid attackers,” said David Sajoto, the regional vice president of APJ.

Vectra MXDR

Vectra MXDR provides complete coverage across the entire hybrid attack surface powered by Vectra AI’s patented Attack Signal Intelligence that leverages AI and machine learning to learn unique environments and identify malicious activities.

The new offering also provides 24x7x365 experts against hybrid attacks for round-the-clock global defense and handles detection and response in a unified service without needing multiple service providers.

With its remote response and remediation feature, enterprises can isolate, contain, and mitigate hybrid attacks. It also has a flexible operational model to meet evolving business needs and personalisation.

Moreover, its managed security policy configuration proactively secures and defends enterprises against threats.

Unique approach

Gary Ruiz

“Our approach to XDR is unique because, not only are we integrating these technologies into one offering, but we’re using our AI-driven signal to gather insights across the entire hybrid attack surface to find the real attacks. By adding the services component with Vectra MXDR, we’re introducing that human element to the process to help customers implement and manage this integrated approach,” said Gary Ruiz, the VP of WW Professional Services at Vectra AI.
