Lenovo Group Limited and its subsidiaries ('the Group') are increasing investments in Artificial Intelligence (AI), focusing on hybrid AI and breakthrough innovations in agentic AI. This includes building a foundational AI technology platform, developing AI applications, and integrating AI into its products and services.
Current AI boom & growth drivers
Lenovo's strategic investments in AI, the turnaround of the Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG), and growth in the Intelligent Devices Group (IDG) and Solutions and Services Group (SSG) have yielded significant results. The company reported a remarkable 20% year-on-year increase in revenue to US$ 18.8 billion, causing its net income to more than double to US$693 million.
The company credited its AI-driven growth to higher inferencing efficiency and lower computing power costs, which are making AI adoption more accessible across devices, infrastructure, and enterprise services.
Lenovo also leverages hybrid AI infrastructure and its Hybrid AI Advantage to accelerate personal AI (on-device AI and edge AI) and enterprise AI development, customisation, and ROI.

Chairman and CEO Yuanqing Yang's statement underscores Lenovo's commitment to innovation: "AI technology, with higher efficiency and lower costs, is accelerating the maturation of personal AI, particularly on-device AI and edge AI. It has also accelerated enterprise adoption of AI. This aligns perfectly with the direction of hybrid AI we've been driving and leading. Looking ahead, our continued investment in innovation, combined with our exceptional and resilient global operations, positions us well for sustained and profitable growth in the future."
Looking ahead
Looking ahead, Lenovo seeks to expand hybrid AI innovation, strengthen its global supply chain, and invest in new markets. It also continues to form strategic partnerships to sustain growth, including Formula 1 and FIFA.
