Mendix has announced the general availability of Mendix 10.18 to facilitate an easier and more accessible software development experience.

New features
The update includes new features, performance upgrades, and AI-driven enhancements that combine low code with the power of AI.
It claims to provide AI-powered assistance across the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), simplified onboarding and software development experience, and enhanced accessibility, visibility, and governance around GenAI output and environments.
It also includes updates to Maia, the Mendix Artificial Intelligence Assistance built into the platform. These updates aim to enhance smart development and make it easier to develop and deploy smart apps.

"This allows us to test drive living, breathing functionality early in the process and discover problems or make adjustments early. It's great from a development perspective because you can deliver what your customers want."
