New agentic golf companion to transform the golf fan experience

LIV Golf and Salesforce launch Fan Caddie, named “Chip”, a new agentic golf companion that aims to provide real-time insights and interactive content for golf fans.

Denise Taylor, chief technology officer of LIV Golf, said: “With the powerful backing of Agentforce technology, Fan Caddie will strengthen our connection to and understanding of our audience and be able to take them on a customised journey across content, on-course action, merchandise, and fan experience.”

Chip

Chip is a second-screen companion within the LIV Golf app that provides a highly immersive, interactive, and personalised experience, seamlessly integrated into the app, all without ever closing the live stream of an event.

 Agentforce 360 provides Fan Caddie with a unified data operating model to enable tailored interactions based on fan, player, team, and event context.

Key features include the following:

  • Real-Time Tournament Insights & Replays
  • Interactive Leaderboard
  • “Shop the Look” allows fans to explore and purchase gear worn by their favourite players and teams in real time. 
  • On-Course Utility: Provides ticket and hospitality information. 
  • Customised Content Consumption: Fan Caddie customises content for fans
