iFLYTEK deepens presence in Thailand, builds Southeast Asia’s AI ecosystem

Chinese AI company iFLYTEK continues to advance technology research and development, product deployment and industry collaboration in Thailand.

At the Techsauce Global Summit 2026, opened in Bangkok, Thailand, on August 26, the company showcased AI agents, integrated hardware-software products, multilingual AI technologies, and enterprise AI infrastructure.

Deepening presence in Thailand

In industry-academia collaboration, iFLYTEK has collaborated with Chulalongkorn University and Zense, a local entertainment company. The partnership involves jointly conducting localised research and development in technologies such as Thai speech recognition and natural language processing.

The company has also unveiled an AI Translation Screen at two major retail and lifestyle destinations in Bangkok, Siam Paragon and ICONSIAM. The screen aims to provide real-time translation and visitor assistance for international travellers.

Moreover, its GuideX digital human provides information services in more than 30 languages, including Thai, Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean, at Don Mueang International Airport.

The company also provided AI-powered simultaneous interpretationin Chinese, English and Thai for the China Mobile Southeast Asia Cooperation Conference.

iFLYTEK’s Southeast Asian expansion begins in Thailand, where it is developing partnerships across public services, telecommunications, enterprise digitalisation, and smart spaces to scale its AI solutions across diverse real-world business scenarios.
