By preparing local talent with the tools and skills to take on jobs in the digital economy, Salesforce is continuing its ongoing commitment to addressing the skills gap in Indonesia. Salesforce earlier announced in March 2023 that it is partnering with Nokentech to train up to 100,000 students in Indonesia with CRM skills over three years. In order to promote equal access to digital skills, 50 percent of students receiving training are females.
"In order to accelerate the development of the digital economy, Indonesia’s government is committed to implement various progressive policies and strengthen the collaboration with the private sectors to support the development of emerging technologies, such as AI, Cloud Computing, and others. Mohammad Rudy Salahuddin, MEM, deputy minister for digital economy, manpower and SMEs; coordinating ministry for economic affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.
