HP Inc. has introduced the HP Elite Dragonfly, a sub one-kilogram ultralight premium PC designed for business professionals that need to move freely between conference rooms, campuses, airports, rideshares, and wherever work strikes.

HP Elite Dragonfly, is lightweight, offering the world’s longest battery life in a 13-inch business convertible with up to 24.5-hour battery life and the latest Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. Wi-Fi 6 offers up to three times faster file transfer speeds than Wi-Fi 5 for higher performance in high-density environments. Its optional gigabit- class 4G LTE allows workers to connect and collaborate from almost anywhere as the world’s first business convertible with a 4x4 LTE antenna.

HP Elite Dragonfly is also the world’s first business convertible with pre-installed personal wellbeing software, HP Workwell, which coaches users to take breaks and exercise while providing productivity tips.

“A PC should provide freedom, adapt, and transform how and where today’s business professionals work,” said Alex Cho, President, Personal Systems, HP Inc.

According to IDC, Asia’s workplaces will have five generations working together by 2020. From Gen Zs to Millennials and Baby Boomers, each having their different workstyles and preferences.

“The Asian workforce is extremely mobile and needs computing devices that are light, durable, always connected and secure,” said Vinay Awasthi, Vice President and General Manager, Personal Systems, Asia Pacific and Japan, HP Inc. “We designed the HP Elite Dragonfly to lift the burden of movement for today’s mobile workers and to enable them to unleash their potential wherever they are, whenever they want,” said Awasthi.

Crafted from CNC- machined Magnesium for durability in a commanding, iridescent Dragonfly Blue, the HP Elite Dragonfly features a redesigned quiet and backlit keyboard and glass touchpad. It also boasts the world’s highest screen-to-body ratio in a 13-inch business convertibleat almost 86 percent and instantly transforms from tablet to PC.

Meanwhile, HP Sure Sense defends against malware attacks on mobile workers using the power of artificial intelligence, while HP Sure Recover with Embedded Reimaging gets users back up and running fast— anytime, anywhere

The HP Elite Dragonfly will be available from mid-November from HP Shopping.

Ultrawide and Immersive Curved Displays

In addition to HP Elite Dragonfly, HP today announced two strikingly vibrant curved monitors—the HP S430c Curved Ultrawide Monitor and HP E344c Curved Monitor.

The HP S430c Curved Ultrawide Monitor is a massive, seamless 43.4-inch curved display, equivalent of dual 24-inch diagonal displays. It features HP Device Bridge, a new technology that allows users to seamlessly and simultaneously control two PCs. Users can view, copy, and paste between devices with a single keyboard and mouse.

The HP E344c Curved Monitor offers an immersive, ultra-thin 34-inch diagonal curved display for the next generation worker who wants to easily connect while in the office or working from home. It features three-way ergonomics with tilt, swivel, and height adjustment up to 150mm.
