Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has unveiled a groundbreaking private cloud portfolio that redefines enterprise cloud capabilities. This new offering, featuring HPE Morpheus Software, aims to enhance hybrid IT environments, focusing on cost efficiency, performance, and simplicity.
The HPE Private Cloud Business Edition, now available with HPE Morpheus VM Essentials, promises substantial savings by reducing virtual machine (VM) licence costs by up to 90%. This addition complements the already impressive 2.5 times lower total cost of ownership (TCO) of HPE's leading disaggregated hyperconverged infrastructure (dHCI).
The HPE Morpheus Software family, which includes VM Essentials for virtualised workloads and HPE Morpheus Enterprise Software for unified cloud management, is designed to simplify operations while delivering robust outcomes.
Fidelma Russo, executive vice president and general manager of Hybrid Cloud at HPE, emphasised the urgency for enterprises to tackle escalating management complexities and virtualisation costs. "HPE is providing customers with the choice, simplicity, and cost efficiencies needed to outpace the competition and reinvest in innovation," she noted.

HPE's Private Cloud Business Edition integrates the capabilities of HPE Morpheus VM Essentials, allowing organisations to optimise their architectures for VMs across various environments. The solution supports both HPE VMs and traditional VMs, offering customers the flexibility to tailor their cloud strategies.
The new AI-driven experience automates infrastructure setup and lifecycle management, predicting and preventing up to 86% of potential issues, thereby freeing IT resources for more strategic initiatives. Roberto Valenta from Aeropuertos Argentina shared, "HPE Private Cloud Business Edition has paid for itself with savings on legacy support contracts and improved operational efficiency."

The HPE Morpheus Enterprise Software unifies cloud management for larger enterprises, automating application provisioning and significantly speeding up deployment processes. This software is hardware-agnostic, validated to run on multiple platforms, including Dell PowerEdge servers and NetApp arrays.
The integration of HPE Aruba Networking CX 10000 further enhances performance and security while lowering TCO by up to 48%. The innovative features of VM Essentials also facilitate simpler, granular storage management.
