PT Cendikia Global Solusi (CGS), one of Indonesia’s most trusted independent fibre optic infrastructure providers, has achieved near-zero downtime, improved operational efficiency and a substantial 15% cost savings with Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise (ALE).
By successfully implementing a high-performance network transformation for CGS and leveraging advanced Shortest Path Bridging (SPB) technology, ALE enabled CGS to deliver uninterrupted services to customers nationwide.

“Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise’s solution has been a game-changer for our efficiency and bottom line, helping us reduce costs by up to 15%. Our services operate with near-zero downtime, providing a smoother and more reliable experience for our customers, said Aripin Cia, chief executive officer of PT Cendikia Global Solusi.

Future-ready network
SPB technology has improved performance and availability by delivering sub-second network convergence, for high availability and rapid recovery for mission-critical services. The solution also led to optimised network management, eliminating complex routing protocols and streamlining operations, which enabled CGS to reduce costs by up to 15%.
The solution claims to support flexible network expansion and bandwidth upgrades up to 100G. Automatic configuration minimises human error, while advanced network segmentation and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) strengthen security against unauthorised access and cyber threats.

“CGS’s commitment to delivering reliable, nationwide connectivity aligns perfectly with ALE’s mission to provide secure, high-performance networking solutions. By adopting our SPB-based architecture, CGS has eliminated single points of failure, gained scalability, and built a future-ready network that can evolve with Indonesia’s digital infrastructure demands,” Novse Hardiman, country manager, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise Indonesia.
