Supply chain management solutions company Tecsys Inc. has announced the establishment of a new subsidiary in India and a strategic acquisition of supply chain talent and assets from Pivotree Inc., a frictionless commerce company.
Expanding footprint in APAC
The establishment of the new India-based team is a strategic move by Tecsys. This team is aimed at supporting ongoing product development and enhancing Tecsys' global 24/7 support coverage. Their experience supporting warehouse management system (WMS) solutions will be a valuable addition, ensuring that Tecsys can provide comprehensive support to its global customer base.
Currently, it delivers services to select enterprise customers, including multiple FORTUNE 100 companies.
The acquisition by Tecsys, valued at C$2.7 million, is a significant move for the company. It includes select customer contracts and intellectual property, which will enable operational expansion and strengthen Tecsys's ability to support and evolve WMS platforms globally.
