With the new features offered by Microsoft 365 Backup Storage, Veeam Software unveiled the next generation of Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365. Built on Microsoft Azure, Veeam Data Cloud claims to provide backup-as-a-service (BaaS) for Microsoft 365.

Powerful fusion
Veeam's backup service for Microsoft 365 integrates with Microsoft's new backup technology, allowing high-speed backup and recovery capabilities with Veeam's restore and eDiscovery options.

Capabilities
Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365 with Microsoft 365 Backup Storage aims to manage large volumes of data and protect and restore 100+ TBs of data or 10,000+ objects.
It also offers bulk restores at scale for disaster recovery in the event of ransomware or malware attacks.
Further,the 5-year strategic partnership enables Veeam to develop future solutions with Microsoft, integrating Microsoft Copilot and Azure AI services to enhance data protection for Microsoft 365 and Azure.
