Veeam Software has launched Veeam Kasten for Kubernetes v8, aiming to deliver data resilience for both traditional virtual machines (VMs) and cloud-native environments.
The latest release claims to provide enhancements in Kubernetes data resilience with enterprise-ready modern virtualisation, enhanced security, effortless operations at scale, and customer freedom of choice.

Additionally, it offers secure, self-service cross-cluster migrations, restricted privileges for Kasten Pods, and a new, refreshed user interface for simpler onboarding, policy creation, and ongoing operations.

Veeam has released Kasten for Modern Virtualisation, a tailored pricing option to align with the Red Hat OpenShift Virtualisation Engine. It claims to offer a security-enhanced and cost-effective foundation for modernising virtualisation and enhancing operational efficiency.
