Microsoft announced the expansion of Microsoft Azure AI Health Bot to help healthcare professionals manage administrative and clinical workloads through generative AI capabilities. It can build and deploy AI virtual health assistants and chatbots to support patient engagement.
With the solution, healthcare professionals can create AI-powered customised chatbot experiences for conversational scenarios at scale by combining a built-in medical database with natural language capabilities to understand clinical terminology. It can easily be customised for clinical use cases while ensuring industry compliance requirements and privacy protection.

Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare
Aside from the expansion of Azure AI Health Bot in preview, Microsoft also announced new data and AI capabilities across the Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare such as the general availability of multi-language support in Text Analytics for health, an Azure AI-Language service, which can extract medical insights in seven languages; the De-identification service (in preview) in Microsoft Fabric and Azure Health Data Services so organizations can de-identify medical data to maintain its clinical relevance; and additional three new built-in models in preview to Azure AI Health Insights which provide simplified versions of clinical notes and reports, and reveal radiology insights helping radiologists improve their work processes.
