Balancing risks and governance when using Generative AI

Generative AI may credit its popularity to text generation and chatbot functionality, other applications include image generation, music and audio generation, synthetic data creation, code building, coaching, drug discovery and predictive studies, and customer service.

Gartner cautions that as Generative AI’s real-world applications grow, organisations need to consider the implications of using the technology: Will the technology replace humans? Is it too risky to use? What’s the right level of governance?
