Denodo has announced the launch of Denodo Platform 9.1, adding new AI capabilities and tools to Denodo Platform 9.

Denodo Assistant
The Deondo Assistant claimsto provide step-by-step guidance through query creation, offer context-aware suggestions while users write queries, and enable tailored data products for different use cases.
It also claims to generate descriptions for views and columns automatically, summarise and classify text, identify and extract data entities, analyse sentiment, identify and redact sensitive data, and translate text using LLMs.
Denodo AI SDK
Denodo Platform 9.1 introduces the Denodo AI SDK, an open-source toolkit that simplifies the integration of structured and unstructured data into GenAI models, thereby enhancing performance and accuracy.
AI SDK includes pre-built APIs, reusable components, RESTful Data APIs designed explicitly for developing RAG-based AI agents, and session-level security.
It also claims to provide flexible integration options, sample RAG applications, and quickstart tutorials.
Data lakehouse
Denodo Platform 9.1 is designed to enhance and augment the capabilities of data lakehouses and other modern data platforms. It achieves this through advanced Iceberg support, improved Microsoft Fabric and OneLake support, and support for Arrow Flight SQL.
