A seven-week study at Avanande reveals a significant shift towards more open communication as familiarity with Copilot for M365 increased. 72% of employees felt more cautious about their communications in anticipation of using the tool to transcribe meetings. However, after using the tool for six weeks, almost half (45%) of employees felt less cautious about their communications.

Impact
The overall creativity and innovation score at Avanande increased by 2% to 82% since last year. More significantly, approval for embracing new ways of working increased from 80% to 89%, reflecting a more open and adaptable workforce.
Most respondents (88%) believed Copilot for M365 aligns with corporate values, while 65% said it aligns with individual personal values. Respondents gave Copilot for M365's assistance with tasks a 75% satisfaction score.
After using the tool, 85% of the respondents reported a heightened sense of accomplishment from their work, while 80% felt more engaged with their tasks, contributing to a more satisfying work experience.
Around 85% reported that the sense of camaraderie and support from team members remained steady throughout the study. More importantly, technological adaptability increased to 86%, indicating a growing confidence and competence in using AI tools.
Pioneers
As pioneers in adopting Copilot for M365, the seven-week study at Avanade involved the biggest pilot group (700 respondents) for Copilot for M365 undertaken during the Early Access Program.
