Data infrastructure company NetApp has updated its enterprise storage portfolio, expanding the NetApp ASA A-Series. It features new systems to accelerate and consolidate block workloads, enabling users to create a silo-free data infrastructure.

Further, it claims to operate faster and more agilely with a storage architecture that delivers consistent performance and the flexibility to start small and scale to PBs of capacity. NetApp claims its upfront costs are 30-50% lower than those of competitive systems, with 97 % lower power consumption and low operational overhead when modernising to all-flash ASA.
