TeamViewer has announced an integration with Google Meet to enable seamless remote support and to improve workplace collaboration.

“Businesses today rely on Google Meet for communication, yet technical disruptions can easily derail productivity,” said Stefan Prestele, senior vice president of Strategic Alliances at TeamViewer. “By integrating TeamViewer’s powerful remote access capabilities, we’re enabling teams to collaborate more seamlessly, offering instant IT support during meetings, troubleshooting issues in real-time, and resolving complex problems without switching between apps.”
Remote support
The TeamViewer integration empowers Google Meet users with a unique advantage-the ability to resolve technical issues directly within the platform. This is made possible through TeamViewer's remote access and troubleshooting capabilities.
With the TeamViewer Remote Control add-on, IT professionals can seamlessly conduct remote support sessions within a Google Meet meeting through their web browser. End-users, even those without TeamViewer, can join through a simple automatic set-up process, eliminating the need for complex installations.
It enables IT teams to visually troubleshoot issues beyond traditional chat, VoIP, and video calls.
The integration aims to prioritise user convenience, simplify problem resolution, save time, and enhance collaboration.
Availability
The TeamViewer add-on for Google Meet is now available via the Google Workspace Marketplace.
