Custom AI Companion add-on
The new Custom AI Companion add-on enables Zoom AI Companion to connect to 16 third-party apps without leaving the Zoom platform. Now available for online purchase, it aims to allow leveraging AI Companion across third-party video conferencing platforms, customising meeting summary templates, creating custom avatars, and connecting third-party apps.
It aims to improve sales and service outcomes, transform document collaboration, simplify project management, reduce communication silos, and recruit and onboard new talent.
Zoom AI Companion
Zoom AI Companion aims to enhance productivity and collaboration across Zoom Workplace through new capabilities included at no extra charge for all paid Zoom Workplace licenses. It claims to ease configure AI Companion settings, create tailored meeting agendas, gain deeper insights from calls, and summarise documents in chat threads.
It also claims to capture notes and tasks for in-person interactions, as well as access meeting assets such as summaries, transcripts, recordings, and event details from the meeting card in the calendar event and via email.
It can also be automatically configured to share meeting summaries to third-party platforms.

To accelerate collaboration and productivity, new capabilities in Zoom Workplace include tracking edits and publishing externally in Zoom Docs, as well as stitching, combining, and creating longer clips.
