Remote’s Global Workforce Report 2025 has revealed that 65% of HR leaders in Singapore expect two-thirds of HR’s routine tasks to be automated by 2026.

During the hiring process, 28% suspected that a candidate used AI tools during interviews or assessments. Due to concerns about fairness, effectiveness, or compliance, 31% have stopped using an AI tool in the hiring process; 28% have adopted new ones.
In the workplace, data showed that 24% employees observed using AI tools without formal guidance. Some 23% observed employees automating parts of their jobs independently; 20% experienced employees raising concerns about privacy, accuracy, or fairness of AI use.
Moreover, the study found that over half (51%) of HR leaders are actively looking to replace their HR platform with a single, integrated solution that can handle global payroll, compliance, and reporting.

Remote’s Global Workforce Report 2025 surveyed more than 3,600 business leaders of companies across 10 countries, including 250 leaders in Singapore.
