Asia Pacific (APAC) is leading global enterprise AI adoption. According to Forrester’s latest report, AI Adoption Across Regions, 2025. The report found that 26% of APAC firms have invested between $400,001 and $500,000 in genAI. It has outpaced North America (19%) and Europe (17%).

“Asia Pacific’s leadership in AI adoption reflects bold investment, decisive leadership, and a clear understanding of regional dynamics,” said Frederic Giron, VP and senior research director at Forrester.
AI adoption in APAC
In APAC, CEO ownership of AI initiatives is at a significant 33%, which is significantly larger than in North America (18%) and Europe (8%). This high CEO ownership should instill confidence in the audience about the region's commitment to AI adoption and its potential for success.
Moreover, the region dominates global AI usage rankings. Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea are among the top five countries in Anthropic’s 2025 AI Usage Index.
The study found that deployment is also deeper and broader in APAC, with63% genAI adoption in IT operations and 46% in data management and engineering.
With increasing adoption and usage in the region, APAC employees are the most prepared globally: 91% feel motivated to learn. Data showed the majority are receiving formal training (91%), and know how to prompt genAI systems (89%).
“With CEOs taking ownership of AI strategy, organisations are better positioned to align technology with business transformation. But success requires more than ambition; it demands adapting to local market conditions. APAC’s momentum shows that tailoring AI strategies to regional realities is the key to unlocking meaningful and sustainable impact,” Giron added.
This research is based on Forrester’s 2025 State of AI Survey, which surveyed enterprise AI decision-makers across North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific.
