Rice Robotics has launched an AI-powered companion robot, the Minibot M1, developed in partnership with Floki. The robot will operate on the decentralised RICE AI protocol and integrate features designed to support everyday tasks and foster emotional interaction with users.
Mindbot M1
The Minibot M1 is designed to be a practical personal assistant, capable of managing household schedules, retrieving online information, and providing companionship through interactive features such as music, storytelling, and conversational engagement.
Rice Robotics also launched a $RICE token, which will serve as the utility token for the RICE AI protocol. Users interacting with Mindbot M1 will earn $RICE tokens in return, forming part of a data collection and training ecosystem for robotic intelligence.
AI robotics
Rice Robotics has partnered with several major corporations, deploying its robots in commercial delivery settings across Japan. These include unmanned indoor delivery for 7-Eleven Japan and office services at SoftBank headquarters.
Industry estimates project that the AI robotics sector, currently valued at approximately $22 billion, is set to experience exponential growth. By 2030, it is projected to exceed $100 billion.
