Huawei Cloud unveils innovation and practices that enable enterprises to succeed in global markets in the digital and intelligent era.
In a keynote speech at HUAWEI CONNECT 2025, Zhang Ping'an, Huawei's Executive Director of the Board and CEO of Huawei Cloud, announced the official launch of the AI Token Service, powered by CloudMatrix384.
AI Token Service

The newly-launched solution by Huawei Cloud claims to deliver superior performance, service, and quality to customers by providing users with the final AI computing results and enabling them to utilise the inference computing power efficiently.
The CloudMatrix384 supernode pools resources such as compute, memory, and storage, decouples compute tasks, storage tasks, and AI expert systems, and converts serial tasks into distributed parallel tasks.
Increasing investments in AI and computing
Zhang Ping'an also revealed the company's ambitious plans to invest significantly more resources into AI and computing. This strategic move aims to enable different industries to run applications more smoothly and effectively. Notably, Huawei Cloud's AI Compute Service has seen a substantial increase in its customer base, serving 1,805 customers this year, compared to 321 in 2024.
The company also plans to empower customers to develop their own models, as well as increase investment in Pangu Models, which have been applied in over 500 scenarios across more than 30 industries, according to Huawei Cloud reports.
