ASEAN AI Innovation Lab
The Lab will advise customers on adopting AI capabilities and integrating technologies, software, and platform engineering solutions through Kyndryl Consult.
It will also feature a co-creation experience with Kyndryl Vital for customers to tackle complex and real-world business challenges through design-led thinking. It will employ approximately 50 local AI specialists, including data scientists, data engineers and AI developers, and help organisations understand responsible AI technologies through use cases and live demonstrations.

“Our ASEAN AI Innovation Lab underscores Kyndryl’s long-term commitment to the region,” said Andrew Lim, managing director of Kyndryl ASEAN and Korea. “Our experience in designing and delivering complex systems at scale gives us an advantage in implementing end-to-end AI solutions.”
Accelerating AI transformation
Kyndryl is collaborating with Google Cloud and Digital Industry Singapore (DISG) to support Singapore-based companies in accelerating their AI transformation through the AI Cloud Takeoff program, part of DISG’s Enterprise Compute Initiative (ECI).
As a launch partner for Kyndryl’s ASEAN AI Innovation Lab, Google Cloud is providing access to Vertex AI, BigQuery, Agent Development Kit (ADK), and Google Agentspace to enable the development of AI solutions and drive business growth.
The Lab also aims to help customers operationalise AI through infrastructure and cloud-native architectures. Customers can cultivate AI talent and build reusable assets and services with DISG and Singapore’s top universities and research institutions. The Lab’s AI experts also intend to help organisations implement governance, privacy and security frameworks to address compliance and regulatory mandates while creating energy-efficient and cost-effective AI solutions.

Philbert Gomez, senior vice president and head and executive director of Digital Industry Singapore, said, “By bringing together industry, academia and government, this Lab will serve as a catalyst for innovation, workforce skilling and the development of scalable AI infrastructure in Singapore and the broader ASEAN region.”
